Senior Officer - Corridor Development

A.  POSITION PURPOSE:
 
To promote the assigned corridor to achieve remittance targets and other assigned objectives.

 

 

B. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
 
•    Identify and approach new banks, agents and exchange houses in the assigned corridor to expand company's network in coordination with the concerned departments.
•    Support the organizational strategy in terms of revenue generation, branding, adding new products & services.
•    Coordinate with Area Managers to provide necessary support to branches in the form of:
    a)    Updating the frontline employees with the latest corridor related information.
    b)    Checking availability of the marketing collaterals in the branch.
    c)    Promoting business in low performing branches, and newly opened branches.
•    Assist in planning and implementing the marketing and business strategy for the assigned corridor, in line with the overall strategy of the company.
•    Organize promotional activities, camp activities and events like movie shows, sports tournaments etc.
•    Responsible to focus on corridor wise sponsorship in each region.
•    Closely track the market and competitors and evaluate their marketing strategies.
•    Monitor and track team members’ performance in Corridor Development.
•    Perform data analysis and reporting as required by the line manager.
•    Assist team members in resolving issues related to products/services faced by the branch.
•    Plan and conduct weekly / monthly meetings with the Area Managers, Bank Representatives.
•    Maintain strong relationships with key banks in coordination with relevant departments.
•    Liaise between the company and various banks and agents related to the corridor in order to develop new products and services and improve and upgrade the existing ones.
•    Coordinate with Dealing Department to ensure competitive rate for the corridor.
•    Work towards increasing the business of loss making/low performing branches to enhance their profitability.
•    Submit Daily, Weekly, Monthly activity reports and other business report to the section manager / department head. 
•    Adhoc assignments as required by the immediate line of authority

 


C.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
 
•    Bachelor's /Master's Degree in any stream
•    Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Business Development field
•    Fluent in English communication (both oral and written)
